Langley School District (SD35)

A Metro Vancouver district blending city and countryside, welcoming international students since 1989. Langley offers wide course choice across its secondary schools, including both International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement, alongside signature sport academies in baseball, hockey and equestrian. The district runs its own homestay program, hand-selecting Canadian host families so students experience local culture first hand, and places a dedicated International Student Program coordinator in each secondary school to look after academic, social and emotional needs. For Taiwanese families, Langley pairs the safety and green space of a suburban community with quick access to Vancouver, plus strong trades, arts and athletics pathways for students exploring where their strengths lie.
